Time to Celebrate our 99 scholarship winners
We will be celebrating our 2022 scholarship awardees during our third Virtual Celebration May 18 featuring our 99 awardees. Friends, recipients, families, donors, educators and anyone interested or involved in our scholarship program are encouraged to ZOOM at either or both morning sessions on May 18.
Northshore School superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid will be keynote congratulator during each presentation.
Recipients from Bothell, North Creek and Inglemoor high schools will be recognized at the first session beginning at 9 a.m. Awardees from Woodinville High School and Secondary Academy for Success (SAS) will be honored at the 10:30 a.m. session. Counselors from each school will introduce their winners who will be asked to ZOOM in to tell where they plan to go to school and reveal their career and major choices.
Everyone will be able to ZOOM in and follow a Facebook live stream of the ceremonies at:

Featured Scholarship of the Week
Rodgers Family Scholarships
Harshini Iyer of Inglemoor High School is one of three graduates selected to receive a $10,000 renewable scholarship this year. She plans to pursue a Neuroscience Major, and a Minor in Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington.
Also awarded a Rodgers renewable scholarship were Mahima Uliyar of Inglemoor High School and Hailey Surace of North Creek High School. Nine current winners from past years will have their scholarships renewed.
Scholarship applicants are asked what “service to others” means to them. In this newsletter series we report excerpts of their responses.
Gage - Volunteered in the community beginning at 8 years old. My first experience was through a YMCA father/son group. Our biggest volunteer activity involved constructing Christmas wreaths that we sold door to door and used the proceeds to purchase and donate gifts to Hopelink.
