In Appreciation - Plaudits and Kudos
We are indebted to three volunteers who have been extremely instrumental in the success and growth of our Foundation.
Karen McDonald — stepping down from the Board of Trustees and as Treasurer for several years. Karen introduced software that made onLine applications possible since 2018 so we could handle 522 applications in this current cycle of awards. She has a terrific record of public service.
Sandy Kallio — responsible for coordinating the May 18 virtual celebrations of our 99 scholarship winners. Producing the “show” involving assembling photos, donor partner credits and a powerful power point. Sandy becomes Woodinville Rotary Club president July 1.
Nathaniel Gibbs — a four-year alum recipient of the Town of Grace $5,000 Entrepreneurial Scholarship and the technical genius managing the two virtual celebration sessions May 18 in which a great number of awardees unmuted themselves and appeared on cue to tell about themselves and their future education plans.
